“I’ve been a contractor/builder for over 40 years. In that time, I’ve seen hundreds of men and women participate in a trade that demands exact skills and agilities to succeed….and it never hurts to have an eye for common-sense-structure. Some are born with it, others have had to learn it….and still others will never learn it…..no matter how hard they try. Eric Davis was born with it…..in abundance. I met Eric 16 years ago. He was seven years old. I knew the boy was gifted when I saw the structures he created, over the years, in his family’s back yard. With the skill of an experienced carpenter, he built play areas, fences, “forts”, tree houses, dog houses, and horse stalls. Whenever feasible, he would go to work with, and for, his dad, where he and I would sometimes work side by side. He was never afraid to ask any question and never afraid to tackle any job, always knowing that he would learn from both. By the time he was 18, he was performing full framing tasks that would seem too complicated to most men three times his age. I’ve always jumped at the chance to hire Eric away from his dad. I was lucky enough to have him frame my last two room addition projects and would never hesitate to hire him again. I can deliver materials, hand him a floor plan drawing and walk away with confidence, knowing that every detail will be well under tolerance. He comes from excellent stock. The world desperately needs more Davis kids and I’m proud to know Eric…..and his family!”

"My construction experience with Eric Davis was nothing but the best. I hired Eric to convert a garage attic and adjacent ground floor apartment into a two story studio for my architectural practice.
I was amazed at Eric's ability to visualize complicated spaces and connection details. Then, equally impressed with his skill to quickly build in a logical, efficient method. In one week's time he and his employee were able to demo, frame, sheath the building's exterior and cover before weekend rains fell. Within two more weeks shingles, siding, exterior trim and windows were installed. I originally hired him to only frame, but he was so good I could not afford to let him leave.
Eric is a good communicator and dependable. He kept me informed of his work schedule and always gave maximum effort. Material invoices and billing statements were delivered in a professional and timely manner. It is obvious that his knowledge of construction is well beyond his age, and that he is an extremely gifted contractor.
